Sausage Ring
I actually prepared this the night before let it sit in the refrigerator overnight before baking. It worked splendidly. It makes a very pretty dish to serve. My husband ate it and declared it to rival his all time favorite breakfast food.
2 packages (8 count) refrigerator biscuits.
1 package (2 cups) fat free cheddar cheese
1 lb turkey sausage (I don't eat pork so I went with turkey) (cooked and crumbled loosely)
Spray a bundt pan with a cooking spray.
Open the first can of biscuits. Slightly flatten each biscuit and place in the bottom of the bundt pan (they should overlap and be interconnected when complete.
Spread cooked sausage over the bottom layer of biscuits. Evenly cover with the cheese.
Open the second can of biscuits. Slightly flatten each biscuit and place over the cheese, once again overlapping the biscuits.
Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes until everything is bubbly and biscuits are lightly browned. After removal from the oven run a spatuala or knife around the edge of the pan to loosen and invert it onto a plate.
