Fried Apples
When we eat out, I find myself getting the apples. On the menu at Cracker Barrel they are sold as Fried Apples, at Longhorn Steakhouse it is Brandied apples. Whatever the name, they are yummy. This is my version.
1 can of apple pie filling (I buy the lite version...reduced sugar)
2 tbs light butter
cinnamon (to taste)
(I have put a little brandy or liquor in for added taste, but it definitely does not need it)
Put all ingredients in skillet. Heat until all butter is melted and mixture is bubbly and hot. Serve warm.
